Job Overview
As an Account Expert, Business at T-Mobile for Business, you'll play a pivotal role in marketing our diverse portfolio of business products and services to both existing and new customers. This is a true hunter role where your primary focus will be mining and growing existing accounts while introducing our products and services to underserved customers as a results-oriented and persistent sales professional.
By effectively managing accounts and utilizing solutions-based selling, you'll analyze customer needs, identify opportunities, and customize wireless voice and data products to maintain and expand our customer base. Successfully acquiring accounts within your assigned geographic territory will enable you to meet and exceed monthly sales quota objectives.
This position requires a high volume of customer calls, appointments, emails, and other interactions within your assigned accounts. Having superior listening and communication skills, an outgoing personality, and an ability to build instant rapport with customers is key to success as a Business Account Expert.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Customer Communication: Engage in daily customer communication and follow-up using various tools to complete outbound/inbound phone calls, emails, and online meetings/appointments.
  • Research: Understand customer needs, key contacts, and potential business opportunities. Use research to select appropriate product/service messaging to meet individual customer needs.
  • Sales Process: Facilitate the entire sales process from the initial call to proposal and finalization of an order for each customer.
  • Training: Attend all required product and service training to gain in-depth knowledge of T-Mobile products and services.


Education and Work Experience:

  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • Associate's Degree (Preferred)
  • 2 years inside, outside, retail, or similar sales position. Preferred
  • 1-2 years experience in customer service, sales and/or retention. Preferred


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Sales Strong understanding of sales principles and techniques, including prospecting, lead qualification, and closing deals. Experience in outbound sales and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. (Preferred)
  • Client Relationship Management Ability to establish and cultivate initial client relationships, including setting up meetings and connecting with key contacts within the organization. Experience in managing first impressions, understanding client needs, and laying the groundwork for future business opportunties. (Preferred)
  • Communication Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey information and build relationships with clients and team members. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. (Required)
  • Organizational Skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. (Required)
  • Self-Motivation Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset, demonstrating initiative and the ability to work independently. (Required)
  • Teamwork Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals. (Required)
  • CRM Familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce and other sales enablement tools like Outreach, LinkedIn and ZoomInfo. (Preferred)
  • Technology Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook. (Required)

    Total Target Cash Pay Range: $56,900 - $102,600, inclusive of target incentives

    Base Pay Range: $39,830 - $71,820

    The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in this role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
