The Director of Procurement & Supply Chain Data & Reporting will lead a new function to guide, develop, and implement the prioritization of business and reporting products to support decision making. The Director will develop the vision, plan, and operating model to ensure alignment with enterprise data, business intelligence, and analytics strategies – it is key we ensure the development of data insights and solutions that are differentiated, clear, defensible, actionable, and impactful to our internal customers. You will develop relationships with diverse business stakeholders to understand current and anticipate future customer and business needs, understand requirements, and define innovation solutions for the organization.Un-carrier® Responsibilities
This role will lead the implementation of the business and reporting products by standing up a new function to enable the D&R CoE focused on supporting business decisions through the sustainment of existing and development of new business and information products:
- Set strategy, roadmap, plans and priorities to enable effective development and execution of data, reporting and analytics insights and innovative solutions across multiple areas of the Data & Reporting Center of Excellence.
- Direct multiple teams of data and reporting professionals to solve complex data challenges and opportunities, while managing resources to ensure strategic and operational objectives are met.
- Own relationships with diverse business stakeholders to understand current and anticipate future customer and business needs, understand business requirements, and define relevant strategic questions to support evolving business needs.
- Ensure continual monitoring of the D&R CoE information supply chain and external environment to challenge assumptions around information sources, business value, information architecture, tools, talent, partners, etc.
- Partner across other peer data teams to help accelerate and leverage data capabilities and insights to create a deeply data-driven culture.
- Drive the adoption of data-driven decision-making by promoting a data-driven culture throughout the organization.
- Oversee the development and implementation of data analytics frameworks and tools to derive actionable insights from large and complex datasets.
- Champion and communicate information product value and other key performance indicators to stakeholders.
The Experience You’ll Bring
- Activate vision & strategy: Demonstrated success building and leading vision, strategy, and execution of foundational data and information product initiatives, including experience with driving successful platform adoption programs, with the ability to demonstrate the business impact of such initiatives. Assess the business impact of different solutions and the trade-offs between customer needs, technology requirements and costs.
- Data driven mindset: you know that everything built must be measured to understand its impact on the business and drive your teams to build with that in mind. Experience facilitating data driven decisions is critical as you analyze, plan, and manage the development of information products. A deep understanding and passion for solving complex system and data challenges and desire to thrive in a constantly innovating, changing and collaborative environment.
- Customer centricity: you understand that customer behavior and sentiment must be well understood to effectively build products for them, so you’ll bring a proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT and operational business partners, to identify data requirements and ensure data availability for various stakeholders.
- Best practice approach: Experience developing and implementing large scalable systems, best practices and standards for data management, governance, and security, and have a strong understanding of industry standards and regulations to establish and maintain policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data and reporting quality and integrity.
- Build, manage, mentor, and inspire team(s); managing performance, goals, and development potential, create and foster an environment that values and promotes autonomy, skill mastery, empowerment, transparency, innovation, and learning.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in leading business-focused reporting, reporting/data strategy, innovation, and architecting data projects and products.
- 10+ years of experience in a technical field and/or experience in a line of business (consumer, product, supply chain, procurement).
- 7+ years proven experience in a leadership role in reporting, analytics, product management, or within a line of business.
- 7+ years advanced knowledge of data tools, techniques, and manipulation including cloud platforms, programming languages, and technology platforms.

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as qualifications and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
