This Finance Manager role supports the T-Mobile for business Partner Channel team that works closely with third parties to deliver innovative wireless solutions to our customers. As the ‘Channel CFO’, you will be in-charge of tracking and providing insights into key Subscriber, Operating expenses and Customer life-time value metrics.
A successful candidate will be able to:
•Form relationships with the multifunctional team – Sales, Sales operations, Marketing and FP&A peers to ensure alignment on forecast assumptions and to present a cohesive plan to operationalize any gaps to long range targets
•Drive profitable growth for the channel by guiding & influencing the business team on spiffs and partner programs using ROI metrics
•Be comfortable with data ambiguity and have the technical curiosity to dive into different sources of data and drive automation
Responsibilities
Build & submit monthly Activations & Commissions forecasts for the Partner channel team
Work with accounting on month end close activities including accruals
Automate Partner channel reporting for Subscribers & CLV leveraging myriad data sources
Dive into analysis on lift & profitability for internal & external spiff programs
Work on business cases as needed to support headcount / project investment need’s holding the multi-functional team accountable to quantitative KPI’s
Construct executive-level presentations and present findings to the Sales / Finance VP’s articulating the business story in a clear & concise manner
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Economics/Finance/Accounting
7+ years of Experience in Finance, Accounting, Forecasting, or Budgeting
Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required
Hands-on experience with Snowflake SQL / IBM Cognos (TM1) a strong plus
Experience with SAP/BPC, Hyperion, or equivalent preferred
Strong financial acumen and knowledge of P&L components
Analytical skills and proven track record to meet deadlines while handling multiple deliverables in a dynamic environment
Has a growth mindset and is looking to learn new skills and evolve as the organization changes
Ability to effectively troubleshoot data inaccuracies, identify root causes, and take corrective action
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. The role requires effective communication and collaboration across multiple organizations and levels
Desire and demonstrated capability to successfully work in a team-oriented environment in a fast-paced industry
Wireless industry experience a plus

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
