Job Overview
The Vice President and General Manager is responsible for all of T-Mobile's interest in the geographic area of Puerto Rico / USVI. Responsible for Finance Operations Organization (Supply Chain, Accounting, Taxes, Commissions, Fraud Ops, Asset Protection, Business Security, Audit and FP&A); Engineering Organization (Development, RF & Network, MSC & Field Operations); Marketing (Brand & Image including Advertising, Media, Public Relations, Sponsorships, Merchandising, Social Media, Web & Employee Events Consumer, Business and Emerging Products); Customer Care Operations )Vendor Management, VR, Social and TBG); IT and Project Management Organization; All Sales Channels for Puerto Rico. Dotted line from Legal/ Government Affais Organizations (Ensure T-Mobile objectives are met, compliance and regulatory requirements are met, establish and maintain government relationships); HR (partner with Hr Director for overall compensation, benefits, and workforce strategy).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive forward-looking strategic planning to meet Financial and Operational Objectives.
  • Overall responsibility for workforce management throughout the Puerto Rico Operation. Development of leadership talent.
  • Implement a market-based strategic plan for revenue and net customer growth with a goal of increasing T-Mobile's overall market share in the wireless industry
  • Provide passionate leadership in a fast-paced environment which meets T-Mobile Values and Competencies
  • Support Retail SVP on projects and focus areas (i.e., in 2024 the Hispanic Segment)


Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree Business related field preferred including economics, marketing, and management (Required)
  • Master's/Advanced Degree Business related field including marketing and management (Preferred)
  • More than 10 years - Progressive, multi-divisional, leadership roles in finance, marketing and sales, Significant cross-functional experience and broad, general management skills are requisites for success.
  • More than 10 years - Experience leading a wireless enterprise through rapid growth, Ability to manage multi-billion dollar budgets, sales forecasts and overall sales efforts.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Leadership Advanced leadership skills; leading a team of highly qualified individuals (Required)
  • Budget Management Forecasting and analysis (Required)
  • Customer Service Expert business knowledge with a comprehensive understanding of customer service organizations and functions (Required)

    Base Pay Range: $226,800 - $306,800

    Corporate Bonus Target: 50%

    The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as qualifications and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
