Job OverviewThis role will deliver, reinforce and sustain learning solutions that build and enhance the skills, knowledge and abilities of the TPR teams. The Sales Training Manager will partner with Sr Training Managers and field leaders to develop and implement strategic sales delivery training plans to drive results. This role will also provide support and build effective working relationships across all leadership levels (Directors, Sr Managers and Managers) in all sales channels and assist the TPR training organizations. Successful execution of this role will result in improvements in our key business metrics: Growth, Revenue, Customer Experience, Operational Excellence.
Job Responsibilities:
- Build collaborative relationships between TPR Sales Ops, TPR Account Management, and TPR Training Organizations to execute T-Mobile Sales Training programs.
- Conducts regular visits to TPR training locations to assess Trainer alignment to training delivery behavior expectations, learning environment, use of training tools and resources, and demonstration of interaction model behaviors.
- Gathers training initiatives insights for new product, service, system, program launches to evaluate implementation effectiveness.
- Serves as Subject Matter Expert to represent TPR perspectives for emerging training initiatives and program launches.
- Attend national and regional sales leadership, channel, business steering meetings to drive TPR training performance.
- Impacts sales performance with training recommendations that drive metrics of focus.
- Reporting & Analytics
- Provides reporting, insights, and recommendations on initiatives and programs.
- Ensure TPR Training POCs and Trainers are aligned to organizational strategy designed to execute T-Mobile training programs.
- Identifies knowledge and/or skill gaps, provides resolution by offering recommended training solutions that are within scope of TPR rules of engagement
- Execute implementation plans linked to business goals and priorities.
- Implements new practices and procedures to drive training initiatives and training programs.
- Establish standard practices and processes that adapts to customer changing needs in relation to training delivery support.
- Facilitates National Training Programs to TPR Trainers and POCs and internal support teams. Supports on-boarding of new TPR Trainers and POCs and internal support teams Readiness and on-going development needs
- Responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.
- Serves as SME or sponsor for HQ project teams to collect and/or apply feedback on new / ongoing projects.
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree 3+ years of additional work experience may be considered in lieu of degree. (Preferred)
- - 3 years of retail management experience
- - 1 year supporting TPR or Sales Training
- - 2+ years of professional training experience
- - 1+ years of virtual training experience on platforms including but not limited to Adobe Connect, Webex and Skype
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Presentations Able to facilitate effective and engaging presentations using a variety of delivery modalities. (Required)
- Conflict Management Able to manage group or individual conflict. (Required)
- Training Facilitation Ability to facilitate learning to a diverse audience with a variety of leadership and learning styles. (Required)
- Performance Metrics Able to read, analyze and discuss possible action plans based on business performance metrics. (Required)

Candidate’s pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
