Senior Financial Reporting Manager

Job Overview
The Sr Financial Reporting Manager is an individual contributor that is responsible for the preparation/review of monthly financial reports for senior leadership, IFRS reporting to Deutsche Telekom, preparation/review of quarterly and annual reports on Form 10-Q and 10-K as well as other SEC registration statements in support of debt and equity offerings and statutory financial statements. They are also responsible for leading projects supported by accounting professionals and all executive level communication, report design and content and over-site of external communications related to company operations. The Sr Financial Reporting Manager will build and maintain strong relationships within T-Mobile's other accounting and finance functions as well as within the business units, including Investor Relations, Treasury, Legal and Financial Planning and Analysis.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Utilizes strong accounting, system and business knowledge to act as a SME for accounting area of responsibility. Ensures that external financial, management and Ad Hoc reports are adequately and properly prepared, maintained and explained in a timely manner.
  • Possesses deep understanding of business drivers and their effect on financial results and provides direction and guidance as to how they are to be reflected on financial statements and analysis.
  • Manages or leads others in planning, organization and preparation of Financial Reporting and Management Reporting deliverables and Ad Hoc reports and identifies potential opportunities for improvement to reports, reporting processes or formats. Utilizes accounting reports, and ensures that monthly/quarterly reporting close activities are adequately and properly prepared, and maintained in a timely manner.
  • Performs second and/or final level review of the work of others on the team. Provides constructive feedback, guidance, and coaching while maintaining positive relationships.
  • Uses broad knowledge of accounting and reporting concepts, wide-ranging experience, superior analytical skills and knowledge of industry to review issues and develop standards.
  • Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (Required)

Work Experience:

  • 7-10 years Accounting or Finance experience for a public company with dynamic and complex operations or public accounting experience. (Required)
  • 3-5 years Big 4 public accounting experience preferred.

Base Pay Range: $87,500 - $157,900

Corporate Bonus Target: 15%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
