Job Overview
The Sr Business Analysis Manager delivers big insights and helps leaders throughout the business to make critical strategic and operational decisions and craft the long-term vision of T-Mobile. The Sr Business Analysis Manager is responsible for insights, analysis, and reporting using various analytical techniques and software including statistics, data science, data mining, machine learning and business intelligence/reporting software. They build customer and company centric recommendations advised by analysis, good business insight and partner with the business to drive improvements through creativity, and effective communication. They lead collaborative efforts with various teams including marketing, product, finance, and platform teams on sophisticated modeling and analysis requests. This position also owns the design and development of strategies to acquire business objectives, reporting structures & interfaces, as well as administration of standardized reports to be applied across teams. They are comfortable acting as an internal data SME and can pull from the datasets that will answer business questions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work well with various teams across the T-Mobile to provide insights, analysis and recommendations that deliver data-driven strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Serve as a key point of contact in providing strategies to achieve business objectives, data and reporting solutions to drive enterprise results, including reports, dashboards, visuals, and self-service environments.
  • Apply analytical and modeling capability to improve decision making across a range of options and present findings and recommendations for prioritization of resources to all levels of the organization.
  • Construct executive-level presentations and present sophisticated analytical findings in clear, concise and decision-impacting manner. Possess the ability to influence leadership through fact-based analysis.



 

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree experience Data analysis, data science, decision science, similar quantitative fields or equivalent practical experience (Required)


 

  • Work Experience:
  • 7-10 years Analytics experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches

    Reporting & analyzing performance & data visualization (Tableau, Power BI, etc.):

    Advanced analytics, which includes SQL analysis of sophisticated datasets, competitive analysis, quantitative analysis & research

    Experience with Python, R, Go or similar statistics or data science language preferred. (Required)
  • 1-4 years Creative thinking to solve big business objectives, combined with storytelling with data for executive-level leadership decision making.
  • Telecommunications (Preferred)


 

  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Communication Ability to manage relationships, influence and communicate complicated analysis, logic, and solutions in a clear and concise manner at the executive level and provide decision support, analysis and recommendations that help to drive effective execution of initiatives. (Required)

  • Data Analysis Outstanding at using multifaceted datasets to deliver broad analysis and insights to improve value creation and return on investment. (Required)

Washington Pay Range: $125,700 - $170,100

o The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay may be above or below this range.


o At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance, while Retail and Business Sales roles are eligible for monthly or quarterly sales incentives. And since we are ALL owners, EVERY employee at T-Mobile is eligible for an Annual Stock Grant. Base Pay Range: $96,700 - $174,400

Corporate Bonus Target: 20%
