Sr Labor Relations Manager

Job Overview
This role provides subject matter expertise and consultation on matters related to the National Labor Relations Act to support organizational compliance and labor relations. It leads and advises on union organizing campaigns, contract negotiations, and employee relations issues to protect the rights of employees and management. The role differentiates by integrating legal consultation, strategic communication, and labor relations training to manage risks and support labor-management partnerships. Success is measured by effective management of labor relations activities, compliance with labor laws, and resolution of unfair labor practice charges. The work impacts the organization by maintaining constructive labor relations, supporting employee rights, and minimizing legal and reputational risks.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead functional teams to manage union organizing campaigns and achieve compliance with labor laws
  • Develop and implement labor relations strategies that balance employee and management rights
  • Coach HR partners and business leaders on complex employee relations and union negotiation issues
  • Provide on-site support during union activities, including legal consultation and communication strategy development
  • Support contract negotiations through costing, record keeping, and research of collective bargaining trends
  • Monitor labor board decisions and partner with Legal to investigate and resolve labor practice charges and grievances
  • Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed


Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 7 years of related work experience
    OR a combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required)
  • Acceptable areas of study include Human Resources or related field (Preferred)
  • 7-10 years Human Resources experience, with a strong emphasis on Labor Relations. (Preferred)

Total Target Cash Earnings Opportunity: $130,200 - $234,960

National Base Pay Range: $108,500 - $195,800

The Total Target Cash Earnings Opportunity represents the expected total cash compensation for this role at target performance, combining base salary and annual incentive opportunity. Actual earnings may be higher or lower depending on individual performance and overall company results.

The base pay range reflects the compensation component of this opportunity. The candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on individual and/or company performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance. The incentive component included in the Total Target Cash Earnings Opportunity reflects target performance.
