Job Overview
This position is the first level individual contributory project manager and is responsible for working on a diverse range of small to mid-size projects. Projects may be technical in nature and have implications and impacts associated with the T-Mobile enterprise wide systems/system applications, network, and telecommunication/product devices. This position will manage work utilizing standard project management methodologies, processes/procedures – projects have clear start/end dates; specific manpower resource allocations; budgets and are clearly identified as a "project" by the business.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Project Manager who thrives in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment and enjoys bringing clarity and structure to technical initiatives. In this role, you’ll manage small to mid-size projects that may impact enterprise systems, network infrastructure, and telecommunications products.

Success in this role means partnering closely with stakeholders, aligning deliverables to real business needs, and ensuring a smooth customer experience throughout the project lifecycle.

What You’ll Do

  • Track project financials and timelines, identifying potential forecasting variances early and communicating impacts to leadership

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define quality standards and align deliverables with requirements

  • Work with teams to minimize customer disruption and elevate the overall customer experience

  • Facilitate Go/No-Go decision points and quality checkpoints to ensure readiness

  • Lead validation and testing efforts using QAT and UAT methodologies

  • Provide clear communication around risks, design gaps, and trade-offs

  • Ensure all exceptions are documented, addressed, and formally closed

Vendor & Continuous Improvement

  • Review and validate SOWs, RFIs, and RFPs to ensure alignment with project goals

  • Partner with vendors to drive accountability and delivery excellence

  • Recommend improvements to project management processes and support adoption of enhancements

  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and operational maturity

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related discipline

  • Experience managing formal projects with defined scope, budget, and resources

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Microsoft Office proficiency

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Foundational project management knowledge

Preferred

  • PMP certification

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

Base Pay Range: $64,300 - $116,100

Corporate Bonus Target: 10%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
